Conical Spiral Antenna
The SA –LS04 Conical Spiral antenna from Pacific Microwave Research isideal for use in airborne surveillance and UAV applications where rugged design and low-gain is required for shortand medium-range operations. This wide frequency and beamwidth bifilar log conical antenna is designed to provide hemispherical coverage without nulls from boresite through below the horizon. The right hand circular polarization gain is greater than 4 dBic on boresite axis. Linear receive applications provide equivalent coverage with 1 dBic gain, respectively. The antenna pattern is ideal for both airborne applications and ground applications. The integrated mounting flange allows the antenna to be adapted to a variety of installations Flange adapters include 4” base, 3” Alum for tripod swivel mount, and mast adapter with 1-14 UNF thread. Flanges are removable for flushmount installations. The antenna features an SMA connector and iscontained in a rugged radome to provide reliable service in adverse environments.
