UAV Antenna
The OMA-P2S102 dual-band linear omni-directional antenna from Pacific Microwave Research is ideal for use in airborne surveillance (UAV) applications. The dual dipole antennas provide 2dBi of gain on the horizon across the band in both the 902 - 928 MHz and 2200 – 2500 MHz bands. The antenna system is designed to provide superior performance to unbalanced “rubber duck” antennas and can be mounted inside RF transparent surfaces of the aircraft (vertical stabilizer and/or winglet) to reduce drag. Each antenna is independently fed by a coaxial cable terminated into a female SMA connector mounted to the edge of the antenna system. The antennas may be separated for customized mounting configurations.
