Kamelyon HDX-1000
The Kamelyon HDX digital aircraft transmitter with integrated power amplifier is designed to meet the unique requirements for high-quality video, audio and data transmission from highly demanding aircraft downlinks. Rugged, lightweight (7 lbs) and easily operable, the HDX series addresses the critical needs of the numerous surveillance, emergency/public safety, Homeland Security and Defense Department applications.  As a Software Defined Radio (SDR), the HDX-1000 allows for in-field upgrades without requiring hardware modification. It provides multiple digital modulation formats for optimal performance, various encryption schemes to prevent unauthorized intercept and multiple waveforms to support backwards compatibility. These features make the HDX-1000 the only choice with the versatility and power to meet diverse operational needs ranging from mobile to fixed and urban to rural environments.
The HDX Series transmits High- Definition (HD) or Standard-Definition (SD) signals and supports a variety of video resolution formats and frame rates, as well as two power output modes. The HDX provides real-time video from the aircraft directly to on-scene command staff to facilitate rapid and effective response planning. The HDX also supports microphone or line audio, which facilitates real-time commentary by an airborne observer. This is especially useful when reviewing recorded audio and video imagery to support after-action-reports or training exercises. In addition to local touch screen user interface, the transmitter can be controlled in flight using the cockpit optimized DZUS mounted remote control head. The transmitter is available in a range of frequencies that will support most federal, state and local needs.
