LNA-20
The LNA-20 is a low noise amplifier and filter assembly packaged in a fully weatherized assembly for all purpose use. The amplifier is lightweight (weighs less than 2 lbs) and contained in a compact form factor (less than 69 cubic inches of volume.) It is designed to be used in an outdoor environment for applications that require long cable runs between the antenna and the microwave receiver. Incorporating an LNA-20 into this configuration compensates for the insertion loss of the long cable run. As an example, a 225 feet separation distance can be achieved using standard RG214 cables at S-band.  The LNA-20 offers 26db of small signal gain with a noise figure of less than 2db. The integrated band reject filter offers greater than 30 db of attenuation for signals outside of the pass band at the 0.25 bandwidth points.
The LNA assembly consumes less than 2 watts of prime power and uses an internal highly efficient DC to DC converter to regulate the DC input from +15 to +28V through the 50 ohm type N coaxial output connector. The internal construction of the LNA assembly consists of a solid state low noise amplifier using GaAs FET technology with precision micro strip filtering technology. The LNA-20 is DC powered (+24VDC) by the LNA-P/S assembly which supports a wide AC voltage input range from 90 to 260 VAC.
