Kamelyon DRX1000
The Kamelyon DRX-1000 is a dual-stream video receiver designed to receive two high-definition (HD) video streams over two different frequencies simultaneously. The receiver is designed to meet the unique needs for high-quality video, audio and data reception in highly demanding tactical environments. The receiver is contained in a rugged, weather proof housing, making it suitable to address the critical demands of surveillance, emergency/public safety, Homeland Security and Defense Department applications. As a Software Defined Radio (SDR), the DRX-1000 allows for in-field upgrades without requiring hardware modification. It provides multiple digital modulation formats for optimal performance, various decryption schemes to prevent unauthorized intercept and multiple waveforms to support backwards compatibility. These features make the DRX-1000 the only choice with the versatility and power to meet diverse operational needs ranging from mobile to fixed and urban to rural environments.
The DRX-1000 receiver supports multiple user configurable presets which are easily selectable via durable keypad controls for rapid configuration and deployment. Various video resolution formats and frame rates are supported, allowing adaptation to diverse situational needs. The receiver invokes two-input diversity technology to improve the range and quality of signal. Diversity is particularly beneficial in overcoming environments containing noise and RF interference as well as areas containing physical obstructions. In addition, the receiver can be cascaded with additional receivers to provide four or six input diversity in order to achieve even greater performance in particularly challenging locations.
