The Kamelyon HDR-1000 digital receiver is designed to meet the unique requirements for high-quality video, audio and data reception in highly demanding tactical environments. Designed for rapid deployment, the rugged and compact HDR-1000 meets the critical needs of the numerous surveillance, emergency/public safety, Homeland Security and Defense Department applications.

As a Software Defined Radio (SDR), the HDR-1000 allows for in-field upgrades without requiring hardware modification. It provides multiple digital modulation formats for optimal performance, various decryption schemes to prevent unauthorized intercept and multiple waveforms to support backwards compatibility. These features make the HDR-1000 the only choice with the versatility and power to meet diverse operational needs ranging from mobile to fixed and urban to rural environments.

The HDR-1000 supports IP video server output, seamlessly bridging the gap between remote wireless transmitters and the network infrastructure. The HDR- 1000 receives High Definition (HD) or Standard Definition (SD) signals and supports a variety of video resolution formats and frame rates, making it highly adaptable to diverse situational needs. Sixteen user-configurable presets are easily selectable via durable keypad controls for rapid configuration and deployment.

The HDR-1000 invokes two-input diversity technology to improve the range and quality of signal. Diversity is particularly beneficial in overcoming environments containing noise and RF interference. In addition, the receiver can be cascaded with additional receivers using VISLINK proprietory packet diversity to provide four or six input diversity, achieving even greater performance in particularly challenging locations containing physical obstructions.

The HDR-1000 is available in a range of frequencies that will support most federal, state and local needs. Contact Vislink today to learn more about how the Kamelyon product line can address your critical application needs.
