The Kamelyon HDR-2000 digital receiver integrates a robust and powerful receiver and high quality daylight readable monitor into a rugged, highly compact and lightweight portable case. The result is a mobile and rapidly deployable complete receiving station that is ideally suited to meet the demanding needs of Surveillance, Public Safety, Homeland Security and Defense Department tactical and emergency applications.  As a Software Defined Radio (SDR), the HDR-2000 allows for in-field upgrades without requiring hardware modification. It provides multiple digital modulation formats for optimal performance, various decryption schemes to prevent unauthorized intercept and multiple waveforms to support backwards compatibility. These features make the HDR-2000 the only choice with the versatility and power to meet diverse operational needs ranging from mobile to fixed and urban to rural environments.
The HDR-2000 supports IP video server output, seamlessly bridging the gap between remote wireless transmitters and the network infrastructure. The HDR-2000 receives High Definition (HD) or Standard Definition (SD) signals and supports a variety of video resolution formats and frame rates, making it highly adaptable to diverse situational needs. Sixteen user-configurable presets are easily selectable via durable keypad controls for rapid configuration and deployment. This integrated receiving system in a conveniently deployed hard-side case invokes two-input diversity technology to improve the range and quality of signal. Diversity is particularly beneficial in overcoming environments containing noise and RF interference as well as areas containing physical obstructions.
