Summit is an advanced, rugged and light weight terminal. It can be deployed in minutes by a single person without the use of tools or fasteners. Summit is designed for worldwide deployment and extreme environmental conditions. The X, Ku or Ka cartridge assemblies can be easily replaced in less than one minute. There are three options for transportation of the Summit, the entire assembly can be stowed in a single two person carry MIL-STD-810F transit case or in two cases for IATA transit or a BackPack capability option is available. The Summit terminal is designed for high data rate advanced defense networks, emergency first responder personnel, civil agency operations, satellite news and intelligence gathering.
